SUMMARY:Dr Ryan French PhD\, MSci\, FRAS\, AFHEA - Solar Physics
DESCRIPTION:Dr French is a solar astrophysicist\, currently working at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) in Boulder\, Colorado\, but we hope he will be back in the UK by November. \nHe is working to pursue the mysteries of the Sun at the forefront of modern solar physics research\, using cutting edge telescopes on the ground and in space. In particular\, his research investigates explosive events called solar flares on the Sun\, which are a key component of “Space Weather” here at Earth.
