Phil is the creator of the popular YouTube series\u00a0Before the Big Bang<\/i>, which has had several million views, and was previously journalist in residence at the Penn State Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos. His astronomy images have been featured in major media outlets including\u00a0The Washington Post<\/i>, the BBC, and\u00a0The Guardian<\/i>, and he has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals.<\/p>\n
